M. Elaine Carlile - Online Memorial Website

     M. Elaine Carlile, 72, of West Peoria, passed away at 8:04 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her residence.
     Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue. There will be a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene in Peoria, with Pastor Lloyd Brock officiating. There will be an additional hour prior visitation at the church.
     Elaine was born on March 3, 1945 in Lincoln, a daughter of George and Helen Irene (Duginger) Cecil. She married Michael I. Carlile on November 16, 1963 in Memphis, TN. They later divorced.
     She is survived by her children, Carrie Peterson, Brian (Cheryl Post) Carlile and Neal Carlile, all of West Peoria; siblings, Dik Cecil, Nana (Joe) Papesch, Bonnie Jo Farmer and Tom (Susie) Cecil, all of Lincoln; and grandchildren, Amber (Eva Meyers) Carlile, Jesse (Sarah Adair) Peterson, Michael Peterson, Simon Peterson, Lucy Carlile and Jack Carlile.
     Her parents and one sister, Julia Loeffelholz, preceded her in death.
     Elaine worked at OSF Medical Center in the Sterile Processing Department for 21 years. She retired in 2014.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Elaine’s memory to OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
